My Baby is here!

Owen James Finnestad is finally here! He was born on December 29th at 1:10 pm, weighing in at 7 lbs 1 oz, and was 20 inches long! He is such a sweet baby boy, and looks just like Braeden with Reece's coloring (for now anyway)!

Most importantly he is healthy and so am I! My delivery was very quick but not quite painless as I had hoped! My epidural stopped working about an hour before I had him! It was quite painful ( putting in nicely), would NOT recommend getting induced and then have the baby natural! lol

We Love our new family addition! And feel so blessed that our Heavenly Father blessed us yet again!!

P.S. Thanks Grandpa and Grandma Finnestad and Grandma Roberts for coming to help! We couldn't have done it without you!

Cant believe my Baby is 3!!!!

Reece turned 3 on November 9th! I cant believe its been 3 years, you really just never get used to how fast time flys once you have kids!

I just want to say how much I LOVE this little girl! She is such a joy to have in our family, and there is NEVER a dull moment! She is so loving and full of life! Reece is truly one of a kind, she is just so funny, and as much as she tests my patience, I am so grateful for it. I really do think that even though I loose my patience everyday with my kids multiple times a day, I do think that I am more patient than I was yesterday! Does that make any sense?

My Heavenly Father knew that I needed her! And I feel so blessed, to have 2 healthy, beautiful, loving kids! With the 3rd on the way I know Reece will be a great big sister! She is sooo excited that baby is coming soon. Every time I go to the doctor, which is often now, she asks if baby is coming out. ;) And is giving baby( my stomach) Love all day long! Baby brother is in for LOTS of LOVE, sometimes too much I'm sure, but that's ok, he will love his big sister!

I wanted to share some of my favorite Reece pictures starting with the most recent.... I hope you enjoy! :) Happy Birthday Reece, We love you!

Race for the Cure 09'

Once again in support of our friend Kim who is a breast cancer survivor, we got together for the Race for the Cure, here in OKC. It is always a great experience, walking the race with her and all her loved ones, seeing thousands of people out in support of their loved ones, it really is a neat experience, and were grateful to be apart of it in a small way every year! I hope were able to continue that tradition, even though there all moving to Houston next month! :(

Braeden, Reece and Sydney (Kims grand daughter)

Heather, Kim and I

Bad pic, but this is of Kim and Heathers boys Ethan & Jacob, and Braeden.

Reece has walked enough, now riding on Daddys shoulders, and you can see Braeden down at the bottom of the picture seeing the finish line and starting to run!

Kim and her good friend (also a survivor) almost to the end!

There it is!

And they did it! They give the survivors a rose at the end!
