We Run for Kiki!

Every year we do the Race for the Cure for fighting Breast Cancer, here in OKC, in support of our GREAT friend Kim Lopez! She used to live next door, and now lives in Dallas, we are very close to her and her family. She is a 3 year Survivor, and it is awesome to go to every year with everyone! This year there was 20 of us who in support of Kim, including her good friend who is also a survivor, and her family and other friends who were all very close too! Its always great to get together, especially for such a great cause! It was beautiful weather this year, and the kids were all in great spirits, all 9 of them! It really is a great thing to do, especially in the Company were in, we love them so much! All the kids call Kim (Kiki), so on the papers that we all wear, its says in Celebration of, and then we write Kim, and on all of the kids ones we of course put Kiki! After the Race they have a Ceremony were all of the Survivors are on the field and they give out awards and such, its usually very emotional, and just beautiful, and neat to see them all out on the field from the age of 25 to 87! Crazy! I hope we will continue to do the OKC Race for years to come! We love you Kim!!

Ok so my kids were cracking me up in the tub the other night so I had to share some pics!

FYI: The computer that we use is Ross's laptop from work and they have asked all the Managers to send in their computers to get "worked on"! So I will be without a computer for awhile, who knows how long! Hopefully they will send it back if not I guess well have to buy one, and that probably wont happen soon, so just wanted to let you all know! Im really stressing about it actually! I havent been without a computer in years! I wont know what to do with myself! :( So as for blogging Im signing off for a while! Hope to see you again soon!

A day at the Oklahoma City Zoo!

Saturday I woke up not feeling good, but also feeling like I really didn't want to spend the day inside either. Ive been to the Zoo a few times with friends and their kids but never with Ross, so I thought it would be something fun for us to do, since Ive been gone with the kids for 3 weeks. So off we went!

This was the cutest thing! The Gorillas I had to post as well as the Grizzlies below! They were the 2 coolest animals to see there this time! Braeden was disapointed that the Elephants were gone. They moved them to Tulsa to Breed them! Bummer! He was even wearing his Elephant shirt! :( Anyway this baby gorilla was cuddling with its mama Im assuming, and they were "trying" to sleep! It was really sweet! Bad pics though the glass, sorry!



Now I had to post this picture, it was too funny! He/she was just chillin awake with its legs up resting on the glass! haha

Doesnt Ross looked thrilled to get his picture taken! lol I have to say he was a pretty good sport! There is a reason why we dont go to many places like this with him.... he is off on weekends...which means more people, which he doesnt care for big crowds!, so we usually go during the week while he is at work, Im glad he was up for it, and he did have fun! And during college football even, wow Ross great job! haha he is funny!

Even though this Gorilla is obviously not real, Reece was a little nervous being this close to him!






Now these Grizzlies were sooo cool! They were so close to us, and they were just play fighting in the water! It was really neat to watch, amazing! My sister Jen would be so proud, she is a Zoo finatic! lol

Picture Day @ Preschool!

What is up with getting good pictures! Its like impossible to get both kids looking at the camera at the same time, and then smiling? Well that is a whole other issue! Braeden most the time will smile, but his new thing is big smiles with his eyes closed or just making weird faces (not on purpose). And Reece, that girl drives me crazy, she will NOT look at me when I try to take her picture anymore!!!AGGHH!! She used to be sooo good, as soon as the camera was in hand she would smile! I took like 4 more pics, and not one did I get a smile, or Reece looking at the camera! It will be interesting to see how the school pictures turn out! lol

I can sew!

Ok so most if not all of you will think this is totally pathetic! But I have to say Im VERY proud of my self! haha Ok so Reece is in Preschool one day a week, and she needed a nap mat. Well I just found this out on Tuesday so I had very short notice. If any of you have ever bought them, well they are very pricy. So I thought well maybe I can do that myself? I have a sewing machine, and I have used it many times mostly for blanket ( which arent even that great). So to say the least Im scared of it, and not very good! Ive had fabric to make curtins for Reece's room for like over a year, so that tells you something! lol

Anyway I went out last night, got the stuff I needed thanks to the friendly help of a lady who works for Hancok, she even cut and layed out the fabric excatly how I would need to do sew it! Fabulous! If only they had a machine there, I would have paid extra to have her do it for me! haha. Well, no, I actually want to get better so this actually was easy, once I got started. And I thought it turned out pretty cute.... so I had to post some pics of my new accomplishment! :) I know Im a dork!

Hanging at the Mall in Mesa letting the kids play. I wish I would have had more time to see them! It totally sucks bieng away from family! And were away from both, Ross's and mine, its no fun! But... we understand that in order to better our family, sometimes that means to sacrafice our wants and needs. Maybe someday we can move close to family, or you know there is always an open invitation for all you family our there to come to OKC! haha A girl can wish right?
